About RMMF

Wisconsin based, the Rizal-MacArthur Memorial Foundation (RMMF) is managed by a Board of Trustees composed of Filipino and American volunteers. The RMMF has no paid staff. Now in it's 44th year, it continues to enjoy a broad community base for its funding through support from the Philippine Medical Association of Wisconsin (PMAW), PMAW-Auxiliary, "friends of RMMF" in Madison, Association of Philippine Physicians of America-(APPA) Auxiliary, Pharmaceutical Representatives, local doctors and friends. An annual golf outing by the RMMF, supports the Pangasinan projects year round.
        Since its founding in 1966, the RMMF solicits, stores and ships medical equipment and supplies, books and other medical publications via door-to-door (balikbayan boxes) and container shipping. These are distributed throughout the Philippines to medical schools, public hospitals, medical centers, civic organizations and non-profit organizations.
        RMMF built and operates a hospital in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan (l994) which houses the "Dr. Claude Carpenter Dental Clinic", and a Multi-purpose barrio hall/medical clinic in barrio Lubas (2005). It opened a year round eye clinic at the Mangatarem District Hospital in 2008, called the "Suson Eye Center" in honor of the Suson Family whose donations made this eye clinic possible.
