Medical Mission 2012
Aside from Pangasinan and its seven or eight simultaneous sites, the 2012 group will visit Leyte - historically famous for the MacArthur Landing to liberate the Philippines and his promise of "I Shall Return" fulfilled. RMMF will perform medical and surgical work in two sites. The 2012 challenge will be to encourage larger recruitment and participation from family practice physicians, nurses and volunteers because the mission will be split between medical and medical/surgical teams, going to different sites at the same time.

Serious planning takes
place in 2011. Shipping of medical mission needs takes place and plans will be
refined. Participants take care of their international and local transportation
needs, board and lodging and other miscellaneous expenses. Estimated expense
US$1,999. There is no requirement to join a local organization or to pay
a fee to join the mission, as is common to other missions. Two or three
orientation sessions are provided, to benefit new participants.
RMMF
endeavors to find the best rates for both international travel and local hotel
and transportation, however reservations are left to the participants
themselves.
